Our Gingerbread Men

Recently Room 3 made some gingerbread men as part of our shared reading of the traditional tale – The Gingerbread Man. The children then wrote about the process.

 

On Monday we made some gingerbread men. And this is when  it starts. We first had to wash our hands. And next we got all of the ingredients and then we were stirring it. And we had to cut it out and after that we put it in the oven and we decorated and we took it home.

First we washed our hands. Next we got all the ingredients. Next we put the egg in the bowl. After that we mixed the egg and the ginger. After that we cut it out and then we put it in the oven.

kyle gave his to his Dad (as he couldn't eat it himself) ..I never even got a look in!

I got to eat one of Room 3's gingerbread men and they were yum! Thank you Room 3!
